Hunter Mountain's Bonus

Groups will receive one complimentary lift ticket for the first 20 lift tickets purchased and one complimentary lift ticket for every 20 purchased thereafter. Reservations are required in order to receive complimentary lift tickets.



In order to speed your ticket transaction, a reservation should be made at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. To make a reservation, please use our On-line Group Reservation Form or Download our PDF Reservation Form and fax it to the number on the form. Reservations are required at least 48 hours in advance in order to receive complimentary lift tickets.

Payment Policies

One person must collect funds in advance and handle the ticket purchase for the group in one transaction between the hours of 8:00am and 11:00am.

All payments must be made with U.S. funds in the form of cash, corporate or business check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. All other methods of payment must be arranged prior to arrival.

Ticket Pickup

Tickets are purchased in the Group Sales Office in the Main Lodge, lower level, next to the repair shop, adjacent to the Learning Center.

Ticket Options

Adult All-Area Ticket
Allows 18 years old and above access to all three mountains (Hunter One, Hunter Mountain & Hunter West).

Youth All-Area
Ages 7-17 years old ski or ride all three mountains.

Beginner Lesson Package
For the first-time skier or snowboarder. You receive a Lower Mountain lift ticket (Hunter One lifts and B-Lift only), a 90-minute group lesson & a ski or snowboard rental. Available for ages 13 and up.

Lesson times: 9:30am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm midweek; as needed on weekends and holidays. (Lessons with one or two guests last for one hour; lessons with three or more guests last for one & one-half hours.)

What is the minimum number of people I need in my group? Group rates are available for 15 or more people.

Do I need to provide an exact number of people in my group? Except for very large groups that may require pre-printing, we do not need exact numbers until you walk in the door on the day of your visit. As long as you have 15 or more, we do not need your exact numbers in advance, but a close estimate is appreciated.

How do I make a reservation for my group? Reservations can be made via email, fax, phone, or online form.

When do I need to pay? Payment is anticipated when services / products are provided.

How do I pay? Acceptable forms of payment are; Cash, approved checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

I'm organizing a trip for my church/school/company/organization. Can you send us a bill after our visit? Billing / Invoicing must be approved in advance. Partial payment / deposit may be required.

Do you provide any forms to help me organize my group? We have a Sign 'em Up Worksheet that will help you tally up your requirements. It is strictly for your use and we do not need to see it.

My group members will not all be arriving at the same time. Can members of my group pay when they arrive? They can pay YOU when they arrive, but your payment to Hunter Mountain must be made in one transaction. We assume that all members of your group will be able to contact you when they arrive to get their tickets. That is part of your responsibility as the group leader.

How do I handle the tickets once I have them? The group leader must provide payment and distribute products to members of the group. The group leader must provide contact information to the group sales office for emergency notification during the visit.

Do you provide any other incentive or price break? We provide 1 complimentary ticket per 20 purchased with reservations received 48 hours in advance of arrival.

We want to come for more than one day. Are additional discounts available for a visit of more than one day? Multi-day group pricing available for consecutive days.

We will be arriving by chartered bus. Is there a specific place for the driver to go? Convenient bus parking is located directly in front of main base lodge

We have children under 13 years old that have never skied or snowboarded before. Can they join the rest of the group? Beginner packages are available for age 13 and older. Those age 12 and under must make separate reservations with our Children’s program reservation desk at (518)-263-4223 x 2384.

Are there any legal requirements for renting equipment from your rental shop? Adult (18+) signature is required for all rental equipment/ beginner packages. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the form. If you are bringing a group of children under 18 years old, the group leader will need to sign all of the rental forms.

I would like to include lunch for my group. Can you help? Food vouchers are available in specific amounts and can easily be added to your group package and redeemed at most of our food service areas. Other more personalized food & beverage options are available on request, but must be coordinated with F&B managers in advance.
