Summer Activities

As Hunter Mountain strides ahead toward the status of a true four-season resort, we continue to offer more and more activities and fun things to do in the "greener" seasons.

There's something for everyone at Hunter Mountain. Outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of the natural wonders that abound in the Northern Catskills. Miles and miles of state-maintained hiking trails criss-cross the area, offering terrain for short scenic hikes to extended backtrip excursions. In fact, one of the trails known as the Devil's Path is rated as the most difficult day hike in the country.

Below are a number of summer activities available at Hunter. Check back after the ski season for more information!

Hiking

The Hunter area makes a great "home base" for hiking the Catskills. Whether you're hiking with family or friends, the beautiful northern Catskills have the trails -- and the scenery -- for you.

Golf

The legendary beauty of the Catskills makes the perfect backdrop for a round of golf. The mountains offer challenging courses unlike those found in the flatlands, adding another dimension to the game. Come play the beautiful courses of the Catskills, those situated in the mountains and those looking up at the beautiful peaks.
