Hunter Mountain Offers Cutting-Edge Learning Program for all Ages
Progression Sessions, children’s programs, all day ski & play,
seasonal programs, and group & private lessons
Hunter, NY – Hunter Mountain will enter the 11/12 season with ever-more learning and advanced ski & ride opportunities. Hunter’s many guests can choose from a wide array of learning options, including children’s programs, adult beginners programs with group and private lessons, seasonal programs, and Progressions Sessions introduced specifically for intermediate or expert skiers or riders looking to enhance their skills.
Children’s programs, which include Explorers & Mountaineers, target skiers ages 4-6, and skiers or riders ages 7-12. For adults, beginner programs include a choice between group lessons or private lessons with one of Hunter’s team of talented and dedicated instructors. The Progression Session six-pack is Hunter’s newest adult learning program which entitles the cardholder to one (1) evaluation and six (6) sessions with an instructor. This program is designed to improve skills in particular specialty areas.
New to Hunter this season is the “All Day Ski & Play” program. This program is geared toward beginner skiers who may not be ready for a full day of lessons, but provides full-day care for children ages 4-6. The program includes a morning session in the Explorer program followed by 5 hours of Playcare. This program is valid Friday-Sunday and holiday periods. The learning center also offers a wide variety of children and adult seasonal programs and competition teams.
“We have spent a lot of time building a really strong team of talented instructors”, explains Jeremiah Dixon, Hunter Mountain’s Snowsports Director. “They have a real passion for their sport and truly enjoy teaching others.”
