Summer Festivals

Festivals begin right after ski season with TAP New York, and continue with Mountain Jam in May, German Alps and International Celtic in August, followed by Microbrew & Wine Festival in September, and Oktoberfest in October! Summer Skyride

What happens to chair lifts in the off-season? We turn them into transportation to the summit of our mountain! Take the 5500 foot long Skyride to the summit and view the splendor of the northern Catskills! Spend awhile 1600 feet up from the base lodge, and let the Skyride take you there! Mountain Biking

Whether you aspire to conquer the most challenging terrain, or to spend a day with your family, Hunter Mountain's lift serviced mountain biking program is one of the best ways to spend a summer weekend in the Catskills! Read more about mountain biking!

Fly Fishing

Hunter Mountain is proud to offer an Orvis-Certified Fly Fishing School. Whether you're coming to learn, purchase equipment, or find the best flyfishing spots, our Sports & Expeditions Center is the place to go for everything you need to know about flyfishing. Read more here!

Hiking

The Hunter area provides plenty of hiking opportunities for friends and family, and many kinds of trails ranging from relaxing to challenging. North and South Lake, among many other areas, provide plenty of campsites for those hikers who'd like to stay for more than a day in our beautiful forests. Golf
