2011-2012 Season
Hunter Mountain has for years been recognized as a great place to learn skiing or snowboarding, with dedicated instructors and a separate area for beginners.
Our Learning Center leads the industry and sets the standard in learn to ski or snowboard programs for others to follow. The Learning Center streamlines the process of getting you on the snow, with equipment and an instructor, as quickly and seamlessly as possible.
All beginner snowboarders are introduced to the sport using the Burton Learn to Ride Program.
The Beginner Try-Pak
What: The Try-Pak features three non-holiday visits complete with Lower Mountain lift tickets, group lessons and equipment rentals. There's no better way to learn to ski or ride.
Who: First-time skiers or riders (ages 13 & up).
When: Choose any three non-holiday days to learn how to ski or ride! Black-out dates apply. Ask about our on-demand lessons on weekends! Ages 13+. Programs offered daily (non-holiday) through 3/25/2012.

The Beginner Single-Pak
What: A single visit with Lower Mountain lift ticket, group lesson and equipment rental.Who: First-time skiers and riders (ages 13 & up) who may not want the commitment of three visits.
When: Buy the Single-Pak any time. Programs offered daily through 3/25/2012.

Beginner Private Lesson Package
What: A single visit includes a one hour private lesson featuring one-on-one instruction, lower mountain lift ticket and equipment rental.Who: First-time/ beginner lesson for skiers or riders who prefer exceptional personal attention.
When: Buy the Beginner Private Lesson Package any time at the Learning Center. Programs offered daily through the end of the season.
How Much? $125
Bring a Beginner: Share the Sport, Share the Day
What: A special offer valid Sunday-Friday non-holiday only, Bring a Beginner Plan entitles you to a free lower mountain lift ticket with the purchase of one Single or Try-Pak program. Lower Mountain ticket lets you ski or ride with your friend before and after their lesson!Who: Any savvy skier or rider who can entice a friend, family member, or co-worker to learn-to through the Single or Try-Pak programs.
When: Offer valid Sunday-Friday. On sale at any ticket sales location. Lower Mountain ticket is valid for operating lifts in Hunter One plus B-lift, and only for the same day as the Learn to Ski/Snowboard package. Programs offered daily through 3/25/2012.
How much? $79 Single or $109 Try-Pak and your lower mountain lift ticket is FREE. Offered Sunday through Friday non-holiday through 3/25/12. If you want to upgrade to an all-area lift ticket you can do so after 12:50 for $30 on Sundays and for $20 Monday through Friday.
