Adult Race - Masters Camp
Dec 13-16, 2011
Have you been thinking about ski racing since your last day on-snow in the spring? Well this is the camp for you! Our four day masters’ race camp is steeped in this passion for ski racing. The camp will revolve around freeskiing drills, gate drills and flat out training courses. The program will be directed and led by Hunter Mountain’s Race Director Jim Catalano and supported by our race staff. Whether you are a NASTAR racer, ASRA racer, Local Series racer or a seasoned USSA Masters’ racer, we are ready to help you meet your goals and find that extra speed. Junior Holiday Training Camp
Dec 26 – 31 - 6-day on-snow camp
Ages: J1-5 (9 – 18yrs.) - Alpine Ski Racing, Freestyle Mogul Skiing and Snowboard
It is proven that athletic success is a product of consistency, hard work, proper technique, repetition and good coaching. Our Holiday Training Camp is the place to make this happen. Our staff of dedicated coaches and alumni athletes will help snowsport athletes find a path to meet their goals. The Holiday Training Camp, based on a six-day camp model will use current USSA/USST teaching methods of building and stressing solid fundamental skills and movements, such as body position, stance, carving and transitions. It is set up for those athletes who are looking for extra time on snow and quality coaching in alpine ski racing, freestyle mogul skiing and snowboard. If you are an athlete from another area or a high school team athlete, we can help. All athletes will be placed in age appropriate groups and must have strong intermediate skiing and riding skills. They must have the stamina and independence to be on snow all day. This is not a learn how to program..
Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a lunch break
Training fee: $40.00 per person per day. Lift Ticket not included, sold separately. Reservations Required.

Burton Women's Learn to Ride Camp
March 10 & 11, 2012
Join us for our 4th annual Burton Women’s Learn to Ride Camp! This weekend is all about the girls! Get away with other ladies who love to ride or are ready to Learn How To Ride. The Camp is two days of learning how to ride at your own pace with other ladies. We start each day with continental breakfast and meet with your groups. Once we have a little something to get us started we head out on snow with our coaches for the weekend. Each day includes lunch, 4 hours of training, lift ticket and rental equipment.

Freeski Workshops

Are you a skier who is interested in improving their all mountain riding? Enjoy jumps, bumps, steeps and just about anything that can be done on skis? Come and enjoy a 2 day on snow workshop with our PSIA certified coaches that will help you access the skill to rock the mountain. Our skilled coaches have the expertise to help you through drills and on snow movement analysis to take your skiing to the next level. Get your rest and a big breakfast, and be ready for an action packed 2 days that will have you leaving feeling like a pro.

Moguls Workshops

Want to improve your mogul skiing? Take a full day or two-day workshop developing your skills and tactics to tackle some of the toughest bump fields in the east. Work on technique outside the bumps and then find the appropriate bump terrain to apply those skills. If you want to learn or get better at bumps this is for you. Workshop includes top-level instruction, lift ticket and food vouchers. Intermediate to Advanced skiers welcome. Groups will be formed based on ability.

Park Workshops

Having trouble doing that big jump? Need to learn new tricks? Want to look smoother on the rails? Try these full day riding workshops to learn new tricks or improve on your form. Learn how to jump, jib, and slide on the rails better than before. Workshop includes top-level instruction, lift ticket and food vouchers. Intermediate to Advanced snowboarders welcome. Groups will be formed based on ability.
