2009-10 Season
Ages 4-6 (skiers)
What: The ultimate program for little ones! Explorers offers Multi and Single Session options, with kid-friendly instruction and plenty of fun. Explorers programs include lift ticket, equipment and lesson. Children are grouped according to age and our assessment of ability level. Reservations are required. Call 800-HunterMtn ext. 2351.
Who: Skiers ages 4-6 who are toilet trained, out of diapers, and whose parents will be on the premises during program time.
When: Explorers program runs through 3/28/10 with appropriate terrain availability. Tickets and equipment may be obtained as early as 8am daily. Explorers may be dropped off as early as 8:30am Monday through Friday and 8:00am on weekends and during holiday periods, but no later than 9:30am or 11:30am and 1:30pm dressed, ticketed, with equipment for the 10am, 12pm and 2pm sessions. Single 1½ hour session options are: 10am, 12pm and 2pm. (First time skiers 4 years of age are recommended to enroll in a single session.) Actual on-snow session time can vary with weather, snow conditions, class dynamics and stamina.
How much?
$115: Multi Session AM Start: Your child will participate in all three sessions (10am, 12pm and 2pm). Price includes lift, lesson, equipment, lunch and a snack.
$110: Multi Session Noon Start: Your child will participate in two sessions (12pm and 2 pm). Price includes lift, lesson, equipment & a snack.
$75: Single Session: Choose either the 10am, 12pm or 2pm session. Price includes lift, lesson & equipment.

Where: The Explorer programs meet in the lower level of The Learning Center.
What your child needs: Please check out The Learning Center's Need To Know section on our website for information on what clothing your child will need to keep nice and warm and to help have a successful and fun day in our program!
Special Savings Packages: Get your six visit savings card for the Explorers Program! Available in the lower level of The Learning Center or by calling 1 800-HunterMtn ext. 2351. There are no restricted dates. This savings cards is valid only for the 2009-2010 season. Card expires on 3/28/10.
Cost Of Packages:
- Multi-Session 1 & 2 or 1, 2 & 3 is $575.
- Multi-session 2 & 3 is $550
- Six single-session visits is $375
*Hunter Mountain reserves the right to refuse a child due to age, communication barriers, or readiness for the program. Children should be prepared to ride lifts with other members of the public, Hunter Mountain staff or by themselves. Hunter Mountain does not refund money for children who do not want to be on snow and are in our care.
Please note: If your child is experiencing any flu-like symptoms, please refrain from bringing them into our program. If they should suddenly develop any flu-like symptoms while in our care, our staff will notify you to come pick them up.
Reservations for children's programs are REQUIRED. Please book now for holiday periods. Walk-ins may be limited on select weekends and holidays. Please fill it out and bring it with you.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy:
Full payment is required when booking your reservation. If reservation is cancelled at least 72 hours prior to reservation date, a full refund less a $25 cancellation fee will be issued.
Within 72 hours of your reservation date, we will try to accommodate your future reservation request or a voucher will be issued.
If reservation is not cancelled, no refund or voucher will be issued.
