  • Create lifetime Hunter Mountain skiers and snowboarders, have a professional attitude, and continually add to their knowledge of snowsports.

Job Description for Instructors

  • Teach mostly beginner lessons to children and adults.
  • Teach lessons as prescribed by the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors.
  • Provide a completed Hunter Mountain Progress Card to each student taught.
  • Follow the policies and procedures of Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl.

Instructor Training Course

January 26 & 27 and February 2 & 3, 2008 - Skiers and Snowboarders

  • Cost - $85.00
  • The Instructor Training Course improves your skiing or snowboarding skills while giving you an overview of the job. Information about professional organizations and an interview are included in the process.
  • The Instructor Training Course addresses the fundamentals of teaching beginner lessons and job requirements, including daily operations. 
  • The Instructor Training Course meets in Goldye's in the Learning Center promptly at 8:30am. Please be punctual and prepared to be on snow the entire day.
  • The Instructor Training Course includes: personal skiing & riding improvement, and lift tickets.
  • ITC cancellation fee: $25.00
