Instructor Training Course

Hunter Mountain Instructors Requirements:

Commit to full or part-time employment from November through April.
Display competence on all terrain.
Enjoy teaching and sharing passion for the mountains with our guests.
Create lifetime Hunter Mountain skiers and snowboarders, have a professional attitude, and continually add to their knowledge of snowsports.

Teach mostly beginner lessons to children and adults.
Teach lessons as prescribed by the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors.
Provide a completed Hunter Mountain Progress Card to each student taught.
Follow the policies and procedures of Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl.

January 26 & 27 and February 2 & 3, 2008 - Skiers and Snowboarders

Cost - $85.00
The Instructor Training Course improves your skiing or snowboarding skills while giving you an overview of the job. Information about professional organizations and an interview are included in the process.
The Instructor Training Course addresses the fundamentals of teaching beginner lessons and job requirements, including daily operations.
The Instructor Training Course meets in Goldye's in the Learning Center promptly at 8:30am. Please be punctual and prepared to be on snow the entire day.
The Instructor Training Course includes: personal skiing & riding improvement, and lift tickets.
