2017-2018 Competition Teams

Hunter Mountain’s premier programs for young athletes ages 7 to 20.  Our programs are designed for skiers who are looking to excel with a focus on fostering fundamental skills.  Our athletes will grow by working through a progression of tasks and drills that are organized into a step-by-step process. This is a proven system designed to develop the skier from the boots up and provides a skill-focused pipeline in a cohesive highly focused program. Skiers are encouraged to participate in races and competitions that are age and skill appropriate, but it is not mandatory.  We combine the skill-focused development with Hunter’s formidable terrain to ensure a highly developed skier that can ski anywhere.

Support, cooperation, and teamwork are necessary fundamentals that we strive to promote and foster within all of our athletes.  By promoting positive sportsmanship, graciousness at away events, and receptiveness at home events we hope to maintain a standard that is highly regarded beyond the slopes.
