Let Hunter Mountain and Alpine Endeavor’s experienced guides help create an unforgettable experience for you. Alpine Endeavors certified guides and instructors will travel with you to the top of Hunter Mountain where you’ll learn, explore and navigate a diverse series of climbing routes and unique ice faces; all accessible from our 3200’summit! 

Alpine Endeavors is comprised of experienced, passionate climbers who are professionally trained guides and instructors. All of their guides are state licensed, skilled in first aid, and trained and/or certified by the American Mountain Guides Association for one or more of the various disciplines; single pitch instructor, ice instructor, ice guide, and/or alpine guide.

This overnight and all-day guided scenic ice & rappel adventure features:
  • Trained & knowledgeable guides.

  • Welcome dinner w/ your guides.
  • Breakfast & lunch on the summit w/ your guides.
  • Overview and knot tying clinic.

Double Occupancy 
Stay at Hunter Mountain’s premier Kaatskill Mountain Club Lodge, enjoy delicious meals, a pre-climbing guide clinic and seminar then warm-up and camp fire stories with Alpine Endeavors staff and fellow climbers (and s’mores!).

Studio Suite: Located at the Kaatskill Mountain Club these suites are appointed with a queen bed and a sitting area. They have a full bath, cable TV and a wet bar. This room will comfortably sleep 2 adults.

Studio Deluxe Suite: The studio deluxe suites have a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, and fireplace near the sitting area that has a pullout sofa and a queen bed.

Meals Included:
  • Dinner includes chef’s choice of shared app for the table, small house salad, choice of entrée, dessert and coffee/tea/soft drink. (Alcohol not included).
  • Breakfast includes any selection off the breakfast menu, coffee/tea/juice.
  • Lunch - Picnic boxed lunch on the summit.

Day One:
  • 4:00 PM - Check-in deadline at the Kaatskill Mountain Club Lodge.
  • 5:00 PM - Meet & greet your guides and fellow adventures.
  • 6:00 PM - Schedule overview and knot tying clinic.
  • 7:00 PM - Group dinner in Van Winkles Restaurant.
  • 9:00 PM - Outside fire pit, S’mores and mountain top tales.
Day Two:
  • TBD AM - Breakfast w/ your guides.
  • The morning climbing session begins with a basic gear overview before jumping on the Kaatskill Flyer for an ascent to Hunter Mountain.
  • Morning climb and rappelling on Hunter’s scenic ice faces.
  • 1:00 PM (approx.) Picnic Boxed Lunch at the Summit, explore the summit area and enjoy the views.
  • Afternoon climbing and rappelling and mountain descent.
  • 4:30 PM Adventure wrap up and goodbyes.
