End of the Week Operational Update: February 10, 2019
Hey there skiers and riders! We just closed out another incredible weekend on the slopes, and conditions are improving with every new day of snowmaking. After a brief warm spell last week, Mother Nature has delivered the cold temperatures that were on our snowmaker's wishlist.
Since this past Friday afternoon, we’ve had our snowguns firing across the mountain in an effort to resurface and build up our base ahead of Presidents’ Weekend. At the time of this post, we’ve put down upwards of 2 ½ feet of new man made in just the last 48 hours alone!
Not one to be out done, Mother Nature is also expected to pitch in, lining up another big storm anticipated to hit our area around Tuesday morning which will last throughout the day into Wednesday. Conservative estimates predict we could see between 5-8 inches of snow whereas more liberal forecasts predict accumulations over a foot!
We’ll be keeping a close eye on this storm as it approached and hope you’ll join us on the slopes to enjoy this potential powder day!
