TAP New York Craft Beer & Food Festival Nominated as a One of the Best Beer Festival’s in the Country by USA Today
The 2018 TAP® New York Craft Beer & Food Festival will be held Hunter Mountain this April 28th & 29th
(Hunter, NY - March 6, 2018) – TAP® New York Craft Beer & Food Festival, hosted at Hunter Mountain has been nominated as one the best beer festivals in the country by USA Today. The contest began in early February and will run through March 19th. Twenty nominees have been chosen by a panel of relevant experts which include a combination of editors from USA TODAY; editors from 10Best.com; relevant expert contributors; and sources for both these media and other Gannett properties. After nominees were chosen, the polls were opened on February 19th to the public for voting. The public can now cast their vote for TAP® New York through noon on March 19th by clicking here. Winners will be announced on March 23rd.
TAP® New York Craft Beer & Food Festival is held at Hunter Mountain for two days during the last full weekend in April. This year TAP®-NY will take place on the 28th and 29th of April. The festival takes place rain or shine indoors and outside under tents. A map of the festival with all 120+ New York State Breweries' locations will be made available nearer to the festival, making it easy for beer enthusiasts to plan where to go ahead of time. Aside from tasting over 400+ carefully crafted NYS beers, guests can also enjoy a number of food options, live music and beautiful views of the surrounding Northern Catskill Mountains – all of which is included in the ticket price.
This year TAP®-NY will celebrate its 21st year from humble beginnings as the Hudson Valley Beer and Food Festival which was originally hosted at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. TAP®-NY has also evolved to become a competition as well in which beer experts and guest judges will be searching for the "Best Beer" and "Best Brewery" in New York State and the best brewery in the Hudson Valley, where the festival originated. Three cups will be awarded on Saturday: the Matthew Vassar Brewers' Cup™, the F. X. Matt Memorial Cup™ and the Governors' Brewers Cup™. Discounted tickets for the festival are available now through April 27th for both Saturday and Sunday, as well as multi-day passes and tickets for designated drivers. Ticket rates increase at the door. Festival attendees must be 21 years of age or older to attend TAP® New York. Further information on tickets is available here.

TAP® New York started out with a couple hundred beer fanatics and a handful of craft brewers at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, and has grown into the largest craft beer and food event in New York State.
