Interactive Marketing Manager
Sales and Marketing
Responsible for all aspects of social media, email marketing campaigns, website development & management, and analytics initiatives for the resort.
Social Media Management
Own all management and content for the resort’s social media channels, 7 days a week and 365 days a year, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Vimeo, and other social networks
Support Peak Resorts with social media marketing goals, including content creation, scheduling social posts and reporting results.
Develop photo and video content to support resort goals.
Use of Salesforce Social Studio to manage and schedule social media.
Coordinate post schedules with Peak Resorts to support multi- mountain product marketing on Hunter Mountain’s social channels.
Act as voice and face of Hunter through weekly video reports, with the goal of communicating information and engaging with users on social media
Implement campaign tracking and unique URLs to track performance of daily social media posts.
Act as the first level customer service on social media by maintaining fast response times to guest questions and comments. Reply to guest comments and guest feedback with positive and helpful information. Engage with guests wherever possible.
Own all content updates on Hunter Mountain’s website, micro-sites, and all other resort websites
Maintain clean and user-friendly navigation structure to ensure guests can find information quickly and easily on resort websites
Plan, schedule, or manually execute any time-sensitive changes to the website, including content changes related to season pass deadlines, winter or summer seasonal changes, openings, closings, lodging deadlines, or other changes
Monitor website analytics, tracking tags and reporting across the resort’s web properties
CRM & Email Marketing
Create, maintain, schedule, and send all resort branded email communication to guests, including weekly newsletters, special email campaigns, and weather related events.
Track results of email campaigns.
Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Email Studio, to develop email content and send to targeted email segments
Tag all links within emails with campaign tracking tags, using best practices as well as guidelines from Peak Resorts.
Monitor customer segments and performance data to determine the focus of sales efforts and marketing
Implement email marketing best practices around deliverability, frequency, measurement and content
Monitor campaigns to ensure consistency across all major email providers (AOL, Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.)
Take on new email marketing and marketing analytics initiatives as the business grows and needs arise
Hire, schedule, and supervise Content Creator/Snow Reporter and fill-in during off-days.
Implement Snow Reporting best practices as provided by Peak Resorts
Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of snow reports.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or other appropriate field plus two to four years marketing experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
One to three years of email marketing experience
Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Email Studio experience a plus
Experience identifying and interpreting key performance indicators to optimize email messaging, promotional opportunities and campaign design
Solid working knowledge of html and table-based layouts as well as responsive design
Understanding of email coding best practices
Strong multi-tasking skills with excellent attention to detail
Background in e-commerce and/or online marketing
Solid ability to work in a collaborative environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications a plus
Strong organizational and project management skills
