FOUR INDIVIDUAL AND Unique Parks around the Mountain

Boston Road

This is our most comfortable terrain park for beginners just learning on freestyle features. The gentle slope of our green circle trail, Boston Road on Hunter East, allows beginners to experiment with fun and satisfying freestyle terrain as well.
 

Park Ave West

Located below and to the side of Park Ave. Stay tuned the latest on exciting park events being held on Park Ave West during the 2018-19 Season.

Park Avenue

Park Avenue, located on the main face of Hunter Mountain is Empire Parks signature terrain park! From the top you can find plenty of jumps, transitions, rails and so much more.

The park on Drop Off includes features for expert freestyle skiers and riders. This park is located off of The Jimmie Heuga Express and terminates in a merge with Belt Parkway. Currently Under Development!

KAATSKILLZ PRO-AM: A Skate Park on Snow | Saturday, February 23, 2019

Freestyle skiers and riders are invited to compete in the Kaatskillz pro-am event located on the main face of the mountain on Park Ave West. The event build is comprised of skate park inspired features including hips, bowls, and rails, all of which competitors will be judged on their approach and style through the course. The event will be hosted by none other than Joey B of Freshies Media, while a DJ spins alongside on-site event sponsors Clif Bar, Oakley, Monster Energy, and Yakima. The competition kicks off at 11 AM!

Top placing competitors will receive prizes from event sponsors CLIF Bar, Oakley, DC, Yakima, Monster Energy, and Hunter Mountain. A total of $1,500 cash will be awarded to the top competitors in the pro division. Cash breakdown is based on a sliding scale determined by the number of competitors in each of the Male and Female Ski and Snowboarding Pro division. Depending on the number of competitors in each class, cash prize amounts will vary; cash prize amounts will be greater in classes with more competitors.


Monster Madness Rail Jam | Sunday, March 17th, 2019

Freestyle skiers and riders are invited to compete in the Monster Madness Rail Jam powered by  Monster Energy , the official energy drink of Hunter Mountain and Empire Parks. The event will be hosted by none other than Joey B of Freshies Media, with a DJ and music spinning throughout the event at the giant Monster Energy tent.

Top placing competitors will receive prizes courtesy of Monster Energy. Classes will be broken down as follows:
  • Male Open Class
  • Female Open Class
  • Under 15 Male
  • Under 15 Female
Awards will be given to winners and runner-ups in each of the four classes. Special category awards will also be given out.

Prizes include Cruiser Bikes, Traxxas Aton Drones, Hats, Hoodies, T-Shirts and more all courtesy of Monster Energy plus some awesome swag from Hunter Mountain!
