Hunter Weather Forecast

Wednesday December 10

Winter is here and Hunter Mountain is open!  Join us for top-to-bottom skiing and riding. Our snowmaking team has been working around the clock, and thanks to the recent stretch of cold temps, we’re open with great coverage and top-to-bottom terrain.

It is currently snowing and is expected to continue through the day and into tonight. Total accumulation is expected to be 1" - 4".  A little warmer than yesterday, with a a high of 27 and a low of 21 at the Summit, with a real feel of 12. Winds are coming from the North at around 15mph, with some strong gusts, which may have the potential to impact lift operations. Looking forward, we will see dropping temperatures Thursday during the day. Cold into the weekend, and watching a potential coastal low developing for Sunday, which may go offshore. Arctic air returns behind it into early next week.

We're running the Century Limited, Broadway Express, Kaatskill Flyer, Northern Express Lift, and Hunter East Carpet with 29 trails open. Thanks to our amazing snowmakers and groomers, we will be opening up more terrain in the coming days. Keep an eye on our website and the My Epic app for terrain updates.

We hope to see you here for another great winter season at Hunter!

There is currently no uphill access. Please do not skin or hike.
