Winter is here and Hunter Mountain is open with great coverage and top-to-bottom terrain!Â
Today is expected to have more clouds than sun, with a high of 7 and a low of -6. Early morning real feel is -17 at the summit, so layer up! Facemasks are recommended. Winds are blowing from the WNW at around 12 mph at the summit. Remaining cold through the week. Weekend storm looks to be too far offshore, but there is a tendency in models to shift back west as we get closer. We stay windy into Friday morning, as another arctic chill settles in. Weekend storm looks to be too far offshore, and more than a couple snow showers is not expected at the moment. Slight moderation in temperatures for next week before the arctic cold settles back in.

Uphill travel is permitted via Mossy Brook to Herald Square to Lower Crossover to Eastside Drive to the Summit. Uphill travel is only permitted from 5am to opening, and you must ski down the same route you came up. Remember that you do assume all risk and trails are not maintained for uphill travel.
