Snow Report

Current Conditions

Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 5:48AM

Good morning skiers and riders. Today we are open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with up to 48 trails serviced by 6 lifts. The forecast for today predicts partly cloudy skies in the morning and mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon with temperatures reaching highs in the low 40’s. Primary surface conditions are expected to remain packed powder and hard pack on a machine groomed base of 12-24 inches.

Yesterday afternoon our snowmakers finally shut down the guns after nearly 3 days of consecutive snowmaking. It should go without saying conditions on the slopes are fantastic! With plenty of sunshine in the forecast through the remainder of the week now is ideal time to take advantage of our Midweek Ski & Stay.

With it you’ll receive an all access lift ticket and a night at the slopeside Kaatskill Mountain Club for as low as $119 per person. Tickets for these packages are based on skiing and riding, midweek Mon-Fri. Click here to learn more and to book your stay.

If you can’t make it up this week don’t worry Mother Nature is bringing us even more snow this weekend! As of right now meteorologists are predicting a wintery mix to begin Saturday morning which will switch over to snow during the day and last through the weekend. By Sunday afternoon we could receive up to a foot of new snow! If you haven’t already, make your plans to join us this weekend for another shot at fresh snow.

I’ll see you on the slopes,

Superior lodging accommodations are available slopeside at the Kaatskill Mountain Club. Click here to learn more and to book your stay.
