Snow Report

Current Conditions

Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 11:38AM

Good afternoon skiers and riders. Today was another epic day on the mountain with plenty of snow on 37 trails serviced by 4 lifts. We enjoyed first turns on Boston Road, Fordham Road and Madison Square thanks to Mother Nature giving us 27” of fresh snow earlier this week as well as the hard work of our snowmaking teams.

Our snowmaking teams are firing up the guns once again this afternoon, with plans to resurface the Main Face and expand to terrain on Hunter North. With colder temperatures in the forecast, we have plans to continue snowmaking operations through the weekend. You can expect even more new terrain soon.

Looking ahead, tomorrow’s forecast predicts mostly cloudy skies with a chance of snow showers and temperatures reaching the low 30s. We will be operating from 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM.

Whether you’re looking to tune up your skills or take up skiing and riding now is the time to take advantage of our Discovery Program. With this great offer you receive 3 days of lift tickets, rentals, and lessons taught by our friendly instructors for only $199! Click here to learn more.

I’ll see you on the slopes,
Gabbi

Good morning skiers and riders. Today we are open from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM with up to 37 trails serviced by 4 lifts. The forecast for today predicts mostly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching the low 30’s. Primary surface conditions are expected to be packed powder and powder on a machine groomed base of 12-36 inches.

Earlier this week we kicked off December with 27” inches of fresh powder and conditions have been ideal ever since. Our snowmakers put down even more snow following the storm and have plans to start up snowmaking operations once again as early as this afternoon on the Main Face and Hunter North with plans to continue into the weekend. You can look forward to even more terrain opening soon.

With no shortage of fresh snow across the mountain now is the perfect time to tune up your skills or pick up skiing or riding with our Discovery Program. With it you’ll receive 3 days of lift tickets, rentals, and lessons for only $199! Valid at 6 Northeast Vail Resorts. Click here to learn more.

I’ll see you on the slopes,
